Calvin Klein- The Designer:

Calvin Richard Klein was always interested in fashion. Coming from New York, he attended both the High School of Art and Design as well as New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Starting in 1962, he began working in clothing stores throughout New York and did an apprenticeship under Dan Millstein. He opened his first store in 1968. He was a protege under Baron de Gunzburg, which is where his talents became popular and well-known for the fashion industry. After his first show was held in New York Fashion Week, Klein was easily recognized and sought after for his designs. He has been married twice and has one daughter.
